I believe humans are social beings and can benefit from a connection with others. Together, we can work on issues that matter to you. Each person is unique, and therapy is tailored to the individual. I believe in a holistic approach which integrates the body, mind, and spirit. We can explore several ways to work towards your goals, whether to boost happiness by modifying emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, or by discussing free will, self-determination, and the search for meaning. While in a safe nonjudgmental space, I look to encourage self-discovery where learning about oneself can lead to positive outcomes. Life is a journey, I look forward to being someone you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, ideas, and concerns with.
I have a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Siena Heights University, and an Associates of Applied Science degree in human services from Baker College. I completed my internship at the Humanistic Wellness Center, where I worked with children, teenagers, and adults of all ages. I am a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and I have spent years in the workforce. I am a military veteran and have diverse life experiences. I believe in God, the healing power of therapy and the belief that we cross paths with people who can help us in times of need.
